After having Ubuntu on my main PC, I fell in love with it. Today I put it on my laptop. Thus far I've been able to do everything that I would normally do in Windows. I've configured both computers to duel boot both windows and Ubuntu until I'm totally convinced Ubuntu is the operating system of choice.

What am I doing?
Since retiring almost two years ago I constantly get asked what I am up to. Trust me I stay busy. I often wonder how I used to have time to go to work. I did go back to work for an electronic manufacturing company. I currently am not working due to lack of projects at the company.
My online activities are keeping me quite busy. I am currently in the process of setting up a live streaming Radio/TV station. This station will be playing music from the 60's to the 21st century. It will be a good music mix. The focus of the station will be on keeping our earth green for future generations. We plan on doing public service announcements related to the green movement. I'm currently seeking green related sponsors to help with the show. If you are interested, email me at miiikeeeworld@gmail.com.

How to be a good chatter
At my suggestion, Chris Pirillo produced a good video on chat practices. Well worth watching.

The Geeks are uniting
Having a love for everything in electronics and technology, I spend a lot of time on sites of like minded people. This past week saw the launch of Geeks.Pirillo.com.
This site is the facebook or myspace of Geeks! It has all the typical social network features ie: blogs, forums, groups pictures, videos etc. All the members are heavily into computers and technology. It's a great place to interact with fellow geeks as well as get technical questions answered and advise on technology.
Check out Geeks.Pirillo.com
