The internet is loaded with work at home opportunities. The vast majority of them are marketed to make it look like you can sit at home and do nothing but count your money.
How can you determine what ones might be legitimate enough to actually make money? It's not an easy thing. I have a few basic guidelines I use. The main one is don't invest any out of pocket money. If I can get involved in a pay to click project or do online surveys and get payed to do it without out of pocket investment, I have nothing to loose. If at some point you can expand the program by obtaining some sort of "premium membership" from funds already earned in the program go for it. If it fails you still won't loose anything out of pocket.
Any other type of venture requires a bit of information before I will get actively involved with it. I want verifiable addresses and telephone numbers of the company. Strictly having only online contact won't gain my trust.
The biggest thing to remember is you can make money with online ventures. However, don't expect to get rich. Look at it as a way to supplement your income and most of all, have fun with it.
